We had such a wet and wonderful time exploring Silverfalls!! It even snowed on our way out so stopped by the lodge to warm up by the fire and enjoy hot cocoa!!!

I recently did a rafting trip down the John Day River! I'll be adding a blog post about it soon- but it is a wonderful river to try your first family rafting trip. The geology was incredible and the shoreline was full of wildlife (my favorite were the mud swallows nesting in the basalt cliffs). Have you done a multi day rafting trip with kids? If so, where?

Has anyone been to Memaloose Hills in the Gorge lately? What wildflowers are still blooming?
